Need Help Fast!!
Ok I just spent over $4300 on piecing together my ls/vtec over the last year I finally got it all assembled today. Everything is on right and torqued down. I put the timing belt on and turn it over by hand over and it just stops at a certain point like its coming in contact with the valves. PLease tell its something else.
Ls block std bore
P30 pistons
sk2 pro1 cams
sk2 valves, valvesprings, retainers
sk2 camgears
The only thing I can think of is I didn't adjust my valves yet but do you think it will throw everything off that much? I'm going to adjust the valves tomorrow.

Yeah, it's probably what you are fearing(your valves). Are the cam gears on correctly in conjunction with your cams? and when you are at zero(the marks line up and the "up" arrows are facing upward) with the cam gears, does the white mark on the crank pulley line up with the arrow pointing on the lower timing belt cover? Hope that helps, good luck.
