I think my hatch is sitting higher than stock height.

those are the best pictures i have of the car.
Now i do have the rear interior out (seats, panels, speakers etc.) and it seems to LOOK higher than the stock height. It doesnt bother me seeing that i have the Skunk2 lowering springs i just dont have the money to get the alignement afterwards. So what im seeing is if it seems to you guys that it is higher than stock usually is and if it could proceed to be a problem.
it looks a tad high, but enjoy the ride while you can. a lowered ride is always uncomfortable no matter how great of a suspension you have.
stock is always nice.

Bigger rims = more ground clearance. My 13" CF-48s made me carry crap on the freeway. 15" Si wheels i felt invincible.

i hope you dont think that gutting your interior made your ride hire.... because it doesnt weigh that much.

While im at it. anyone know where i could possibly RENT a spring compressor to get my springs on?

spring compressor rental = autozone or advance autoparts. one of those
as for why it looks so high, im thinking its the fact that the rim is a fairly small size and happens to have low profiles on it (has less rubber than most standard wheels atleast). So that makes more of a gap in the wheel well. less rubber filler

its not true that a lowered car rides worse than stock, I just finished putting on Tein S-Techs on my 91 hatch without even replacing the shocks and it rides almost exactly like when it was stock. You don't really need a spring compressor although it is how you're supposed to do it. What i did was lay the whole strut assembly in the grass and step on the spring while I loosened the top bolt with one hand and held the alan key with the other, then it pops and the assembly moved maybe 3 inches if that. I'd probably still recommend using a spring compressor because it might be a different situation with your car.
Haha, reminds me of my car at "stock" height
. In actuality, we put DA front springs on both the front/rear to lift the car up to snow-bank clearing status (damn Canadian winters)

My crx looks the same way I can fit my fist between the tire and the fender and I've got big hands.Thought there was something wrong but I guess not.
