Definitely, it can blow the welds off your intake manifold.

in case you didn't catch on, they are pulling your leg. your engine isn't going to get any more broken in than it is now, go for it!

Dont do the syn oil just yet...way back when on this site someone said that the standard oil helps to seal up the engine better than synthetic...take it to at least 5 or 10K before doing that. IMO!
Forgot the site that talked about this...maybe someone else can direct that.

Yeah wait till the oil % is at 10-20%(everyone has there own opinions) to even change your oil. Check your oil level also it may have burned some. K motors do that during break in. The factory oil has addatives in it that help seel the motor.

my friend had s/c installed on his car the next day after buying it (12 miles on the ODO). he has not had a problem since then. its a comptech s/c.
as for synthetic. I've been using synthetic since my ODO said 1200 miles.

hehe... I would have too, but it wasn't released yet.

I did have my suspension, and ordered my Volks pretty much the day I got the car, but was lazy for the install, and still haven't gotten the wheels.
