Ok, so my fuel pump is gonna get replaced. Anyone out there with experience replacing this thing, I need your input!

First, how difficult, time estimation and risk associated with this.

I put a walbro 255 in mine by myself. It was pretty hard by myself but with an extra person its fairly simple.
Loosen the straps the tank and let it sag (I replaced the tank at the same time BC mine was rusted inside...got it from Autozone $80), disconnect the wires/fuel lines, and pull the old pump out (easier said than done). It takes a few tries BC you have to twist it a certain way as its coming out if I remember right. A new walbro comes with a kit to fit directly back where the other one went.
It took me by myself 2 hours but I pulled the whole tank out to replace it and took the old pump out on the bench.

2 hours? Ok... I have someone helping me and am getting all the stuff from the list of parts I need.

I will be replacing my old DX with the EX pump and replacing the FSU as it is starting to give (gave me false readings one day).

Any other things I should watch out for?

Just make sure you put the boot on the bottom of the pump. Its very important...
Ohh and dont put a used fuel pump in there...its not worth it.
