Aem Brake pads?
I searched around and saw alot of threads about hawk and axis, but does anybody have aem pads on their prelude? And if so how do they stack up vs oem and other performance pads?
Yes I know, but I highly doubt they are made from the same composite/material.Im sure nissin makes lots of different grade break pads for different applications and duties.

I have been using AEM brake pads for years, I'm on my second set. They're a great pad. I've never used them anywhere with an actual winter, but they have worked great even in 32 F. Break them in properly and they're a quiet, excellent braking pad. They also have a lot of pad material on them, so you'll have to back your calipers all the way out for them to fit.

like i stated, you should be fine. but if you needed to autox / road race, this wouldn't be your first choice

one would hope new pads are really thick
pretty good price u got on those aem pads, you should be happy with them, they are a great street pad, they have great initial bite, and cold performance, and are very gentle on the rotors

yes just because Nissin makes oem pads does not mean they are the same as the AEM pads. I have Hawk pads right now and the cold stop is horrible.

The AEMs are much like stock but better all around, thats probably the best way i could describe them. Because they're made by nissin they're a perfect fit. Where did you get those for that price though?

any aggressive brake pad designed to work in higher temps is going to do that.
you could say the reverse "man these oem pads don't bite at a Nur ring"
its just better to pick a pad based on your application

Yeah but Hawk claims they are good for street driving. Thats why i selected the pad I did. I may try these AEM's next.
