do i go to midas or meineke?

i'm 400 miles from home and i've got a huge hole in my muffler. do i have midas or meineke replace it?

Call and find out which one is cheaper.

What about those quick fix-it kits they sell at the parts store?

so no real difference in quality?

i can't, the in pipe to the muffler is actually pulling off the muffler.

Funk it just drive w/out a muffler. Save you cash and get home then worry about it.

If the muffler is still in place no one should bug you. After my accident I drove around with a broke exhaust pipe for 3 months until they gave me my money. I never got pulled over for it. If you can wait drive it home and get a decent exhaust system like a Thermal.
