Default Just bought A 2006 ACCORD SEDAN Question

My wifes been driving the accord and I have not been out to look at the block yet, but what engine code OR what engine family do i have?

You have a K series motor, I'm not sure on the actual ## but I want to say it's a K24? Assuming it's a 4cyl, the V6's are different - J's I think?

You're kind of screwed in major engine mods because the ECU is drive by wire on the 06, whereas 03-05 had the k24a4 and no drive by wire, hence the ability to turbo, supercharge (although no once has S/C yet).

You can I/H/E/pulley, but cams or anything else huge is out of the question yet. I think the guy who built my custom kpro harness might be trying to crack it, but I can't say for sure.

These blocks can easily handle 8psi or over 300whp stock. The potential is tremendous with a built motor.
