does anyone know what the difference is between a standard visor and a race visor for AGV helmets?

 

took me 10 seconds to go to agv.com and read the description of their helmets.

" Shield Clear, flat, anti-scratch and anti-fog polycarbonate Race visor with tear-off system"

typically "race visors" means that it has little pegs for tear offs. Tear off are little pieces of plastic that cover the visor, and can be torn off, rather than having to clean the visor. This makes sense for racing, because you're in a hurry.

 

yeah i knew about the tear off system but i don't completely understand what they mean by "flat"
