Default All the cool kids have build logs...Time for me to start one. (updated weekly)

2/12/08 UPDATE!!! Tons of pics on page 2!!!

Well now that the semester is finally over, I'll finally have some time to finish up my car.

The "to do list:"

- I swapped out manifolds over the winter, so I need to build a new DP, and backdoor IC piping setup. I'll be doing a 3" DP into a resonator in place of a cat. Should sound pretty sick. I'll also be adding a sweet F1 inspired bracing kit, which I'm going to be selling once I start selling these manifolds. I also need to fab up a different radiator mounting system.

- Rear disc swap. I never thought this build would get this expensive, but apparently it is. The parts I'll be adding: Blox LCA's, custom heim sway bar links, all new OEM bushings, extended lugs all around, ss brake lines, 4040 prop valve, PBR race pads, home brewed rear lower tie bar.

- Once the car is on the ground and back up and running, I'll finish off the interior with a 6pt cage, and personal steering wheel.

On with the pics!...

All dusty from sitting in the garage all winter

I somehow need to make a bracket to angle the radiator. I think I'm gonna have to weld something to my full-race traction bars.

The 91 DA trailing arms. They still need a LOT of work!

check out these sick CF reinforced aluminum heim links for the turbo bracing setup:

More pics/updates to come!

subsribed. The pic of your bay that it is just washed, that is one of the nicest motor shots I have ever seen, there is just something about it I like. I could careless if they are tucked or not, and yours obviously isnt but it is still very nicely assembled, with the FPgauge and tower brace and all that. Instant chubby!

I love your car, I thought the old set up was pretty bad ***. Maybe a wire tuck would compliment the bay. How’s the manifold business going? I look at your new design in awe, if I had to try and figure out how to make all those welds my head would explode.

lol...thanks guys! I really appreciate it.

This car has seen more modifications than Michael Jackson

3 motor swaps along with 5 different turbo setups. Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy this final setup for years to come. I've only put about 5,000 miles on this car in the last two years, and I really miss driving the crap out of it like I used too.

Bump...so I don't forget this exists. No updates yet unfortunetly. I've been working on building one of my new manifolds for a buddy of mine. Once it's done, I'll be able to work on my own heap.
