What do you think? Worth doing to a good set of lights? or stay stock?

i am actualy doing this to my stockers too but i am buying a set of the ebay headlights to pillage the clear lenses off of them as well.I will post pics when i am done.

this mod has nothing to do with painting the lense.... good luck and show us a pic when u are done

Im thinking about doing the same thing...i have my stockies and i have a set of black housed projector...thinkin about paintin the stock housing and use the projector clear lens.

No, it will be fine. you aren't blacking out the actual reflector part, so it shouldn't change the light output at all.

Trust me, the radius will suffer....I did it, and it sucked.

hmm i didn't paint the back of the reflector on mine and i didn't really notice a difference in light output..

did mine today came out better then i thought the flash brings then yellow out alot it not that bright in real life lol.....

yea i did its not that brand of yellow paint its for stained glass and i couldent find it any were went to almost every craft store in town and i finally found it at michals and they only had one can left
