Default Cruise rpm

Hey!

I just wonder wich is the best cruise rpm if you wan't to save as much gas as usual, because I know that regular cars (not sports cars) want's to cruise with low rpm, but when I drive with my S2k I am always trying to stay above the 3 000 rpm mark. This is ofcourse when I an driving 20-50 mph. Higher speeds need more rpm ofcourse.

thanks!

also depends what gear you are in. Usually in the city i stay in 3rd. Quick response time for acceleration, and im not flooding the gas if im in 4th gear only doing 35mph. Ya feel me?

best gas mileage crusing rpm will be at your peak torque curve. Don't worry about it too much. You can control your gas mileage by controlling load on the engine, ie how heavy your right foot since load=throttle position
