Default Do window visors help with wind noise?

Like the title says...I would think they'd help a bit, but can anyone who has them on their car confirm this? How much of a difference? Maybe it's a stupid question but I know I'm not the only one who hates the sound of rushing wind in their ear. Thanks.

yes they help, but not much of a difference.
if you hate wind noise that much then you should go with a higher model car.

It isn't a big deal, but if I could resolve it with a simple purchase I would do it. Would you buy them for the sole purpose of reducing wind noise?

no i wouldn't...the only real reason i bought them for is for looks alone. Also when it rains your window can slightly be open to let some air in with out letting water in. I guess thats a + but still visors are mainly for looks.

*its some what of a theft deterrent too. i mean thats if you consider the theif not
breaking the window and he/she is trying shimmy the door.

i would have too agree. visor will mainly be for looks. i remember before i had my honda, i had some on my previous car, which had no a/c. it was great when it would rain, i would crack the window to let some air in and not get wet. but it still sucked not having a/c.

Ya no AC here either, so maybe I'll get them for that and for looks.

i felt they help reduce wind noise a lot on my ek. i'm the type that drives with my windows down all the way because i have no ac and it gets hot in the summer around here.. before i put them on, the wind would blow violently through the car on the hwy, now it's a lot less

i put them on to reduce wind noice. I have the noise at the top of the drivers side window.

It worked pretty good. I still get some noise, but way better than without

i use the weathertech ones and they dont really cut down noise but there is noticeably less wind noise
but the honda ones suck! they are so small and you cant even open your windows as much as you can with the weathertechs.
