Sorry to threadjack---
Just curious but to your ITR-T guys, did you guys change out your trannies when you went boost ? Or did you keep the ITR tranny in there ?
To those who kept it, why ?
To those who switched it out, what did you switch it out to ?

Here, I wrote a song:

"The boostiful people, the boostiful people,
It's all relative to size of your turbo,
You can't see the motor for the natural things,
And you can't smell your own oil burn-ing!

There's no time to discriminate,
Hate every boosted ****** that's in your way."

Haha, good luck with the build duder. I want to boost my R, but I'll probably just end up doing a mild all motor build.

Yeh, that's where most boosted cars are on a road course.

Just had to Ed.

You should have listened.......

I used ITR gears until they asploded. Then I used GSR gears because they were available. They sucked so I went back to ITR gears.

p.s. Hi Ed!

That's pretty much my only concern.

I was asked about turbo lag, but I think I can deal with that (even if I have to learn to left-foot-brake).

Once again, I was more than willing to give NA a try, esp. with the nice job on the header and particularly the custom exhaust over and around the A-Spec rear bar, but I've always been a "slow learner". </TD></TR></TABLE>

Ill report back my findings after Expo. water and oil temps are my only concern.

Welcome back Ed

Since you're no longer responding to any comments or questions, I'll say, "Another one bites the dust."

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by zygspeed &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Not yet, but I wouldn't mind grenading it at this point.

Someone asked me if I thought I'd be faster (w/turbo), and I asked if he meant lap times, after which I said ... YES! </TD></TR></TABLE>

Let's not kid ourselves; this car will make it to a track event or two at most. If you were serious about doing trackdays you'd have been doing them in your CRX, or one of the two ITRs you've already destroyed.

That ITR was truly exemplary and unique, and if you didn't like the car, there were plenty of ITR owners (current and aspiring) that would have loved to take it off your hands. But no, "Crazy Ed" has to show everyone how much money he can burn (again), and one more ITR will never be the same.

Good luck with your build, and watch out for the 'deer' this time around.
