Default Chain question

Recently got a new chain about a month ago was washing the bike when i noticed one of the links looks like something has fallen off it I don't know what it is just want everyone's input in case it is something that I should tend to. As you can see something used to be there because of the circular pattern looks like a small o-ring or something compared to the other links looks like the tip of the shaft has fallen off. What is this?

That's what master links look like... If you replace it, it'll look the same. Don't worry about it.

I agree with you judging by your avatar you fit the profile of a squid quite perfectly

Heh, yeah, lol. Something like that bud. I at least know what a master link is, because i do ALL the work to my bike, myself.

So i'm a do-it-yourselfer squid...a notch higher than the...non-do-it-yourselfer squid, and two notches higher than the 'i call other people a squid, when not knowing what one is'-squid. Lol.

EDIT: Does anybody know if Oil for the yamaha dealership will go into my zuki'?

usually, unless it comes in Genuine bottles, oil, as a general rule will break down quicker in the bike its not intended for.

In worst cases, the bike might actually reject the oil, (sort of like a bulimic actress) right back out the oil filler spout!!!!
