Default d series trans the same for civic as integras?

quick question, someone i know has a 89 teg with gernaded 4th and 5th gears, i have a few spare d series trans kicking around. so will my d series trans bolt into his 89 teg? if not will the internals swap over? ie the 4th and 5th gears?

Not unless it was from the same year range (1986-1989) Integra. The D16A1 is an odd D-series motor.
