RSX Seats in a EF good or bad idea?
i think they will sit high, but i have no experience. Just guessing because of the cabin size and how they relate in height to the newer Si seats...

If you want nicer seats and can make them fit then yea go for it. Only problem is they are going to be heavier so if you don't care about the weight and aren't paying and arm/leg then go for it.
I'm pretty sure that they will sit very high unless you've got some good rails. You may just want to get your stock ones reupholstered. Or if you're in the Milwaukee area, I've got a set of Si's for sale in my sig
i'm actually in the process of doing this myself.. they do sit kinda high.. and they are heavy.. but than again my crx is REALLY light.. lol i'm actually making my own custom brackets.. then welding them in.. it's not difficult.. hit me up if you want me to make you some..
I have RSX seats in my CRX. They are super comfy but they do sit really high.

I could really use a set of those brackets haha.
Seems that if you are over about 6'1" it is nearly impossible to ride in my car without some serious gangsta lean. Here are the seats in my car, you can see how close they come to the ceiling.

ended up making some brackets and welding them to the orginal rails. Then had to elongate the front mounting holes to lower the position. I got all 4 bolts in, but would really like for them to sit lower.
cool..well i'll take pics as i go and you can let me know if you want em.. lol the way i'm doing it i'm using the stock brackets and making new floor brackets..
Kwel thanks for the pics, i Might do it I am still hung up on the idea. I have a really good hook up for the black leather seats front and rear for a decent price.
RSX seats dont have regular seat pans, or I would have done a seat pan swap.
In order to get the seats lower, I will probably have to make a custom set of rails and weld them in. Post some pictures of your brackets. I would like to see how they work.

there was a crx with a k20 swap in here before. it also had an rsx dash and rsx seats. but i couldn't find any pics. has anyone else ever seen it before?
i love my rsx seats, but in my type s.
imo, nothing beats some mint oem si seats in a crx or hatch.
