with the strut still in, is the opening in the plastic big enough to fit a ratchet and socket through so i can loosen the bolt before i remove the strut, avoiding the headache of messing with that damn allen wrench. searched but to no avail. thanks!!

 

yeah, people dont answer bolt questions here to well.

i would say try it, just think about how your gunna put it back, etc.

Once that little "door" is removed its cake.. You shouldn't have any issues.
