Brake Lines Siezed?
I want to replace the OEM rubber brake lines with SS-Braided lines for my Big Brake Kit. However, the rubber line's screw attachment seems to be seized onto the metal lines coming from the Master Cylinder. Are the metal lines able to be cut and re-threaded? Or is it simpler to remove them and replace them entirely? All 4 (front and back) lines seem to be seized as well!

Seriuously don't do that. Take it from someone who has removed ABS and ran all new custom lines to each wheel, you do not want to use a normal wrench. Get a set of flare nut wrenches and soak the fitting in WD-40 or PB Blaster or whatever you like. Stripping a brake fitting is very not fun.

My problem was my OE lines were metric and my SS were standard, but the threads were the same. I used a regular open ended wrench for 3 of the lines, and the 4th one stripped out so I ended up working some vice grips on
