Review Mirrors (4th gen)
Wondering how the review mirror / brackets are set up on 4th gen preludes.
I have a 92 prelude and my review mirror was just pulled off and stolen, and I bought a 94-96 prelude's review mirror and having small difficulties mounting it. Are there any differences? Or possible I'm just missing part of the mount?

Actually, after looks at some diagrams I might have figured it out.
Do you set the mirror up there, have the screw loose a little bit before you slide it in. After its slid in, then you screw it tight?
Just curious if anyone has messed with the review mirror at all, thanks.
(right now i'm done in the garage or else I would go test this theory lol, and also I have no lighting and i'm just staring into darkness trying to get it clamped. )

In this illustration...
I have #10 attached to my windshield.
I have the other parts assembled in this order: 12 > 11 > 13 > 14 > 9
how the hell do you take my assembly above and snap it in place? Am I doing this wrong? because it doesnt slide/snap in and actually hold in any way.
This isn't rocket science, and I'm an idiot.
loosen number 12 enough so it can slide over the metal part on the windsheild
make sure the hook on #14 goes over the clip on #11
#10 is just a cover
once you slide the whole thing on the metal peice on the windsheild....tighten the screw #12
