Depending on your mods and budget, you may want to look at other cams + some tuning.

my bro just got the BC stage 2 he plan on running them with 11.4 compression b18c1. What's the cons with them? They have a lot of duration too 306 and 300.

on this website, if they aren't Skunk Pro series then they suck. i know somebody who made 200whp on a mild build with 11/1 c.r and an off shelf header with the B.Crower 0012. trust me, they will make power. you're just asking the wrong people. show your builder the cam spec sheet and your set up and he'll tell you whether or not they suit your needs.

Ahhh, don't get caught up in the advretised specs....there are much MUCH more to cams than lift/duration numbers. My M22's killed my roomates BC 2's.

he got them because he got a really good price, and the spec to the m22 seemed pretty similar.

different day, set up, temperature........... were both cars even tuned at the same facility? you're m22's might have killed your boys bc4's, but, that 79wtq you made in the mid is absoultely disgraceful . there are too many peak hp freaks on here, ridin' dirty. average hp owns, you

-He did not have BC4's, he had Brian Crower stage 2's.
-Both were on a Dynojet
-He was tuned in the fall, I was tuned in the summer
-He had an awesome tuner, my "tuner" thought my motor was a K20. Had absolutely no idea what the DC was on the injectors, nor was timing set.
-At the time of my "tune," my fpr was damn near completely shut
-We made the same wheel horsepower
-He had Comptech Ice Box and Spoon header. I had stock intake, stock exhaust manifold.

I had an absolute **** tune, stock air box and exhaust manifold with a closed fpr, timing was not set, and injector duty cycle was never determined yet I made the same amount that he did. Hmmm.....

Yes I realize that the actual dyno's themselves are not the same, his may read low and mine might have read high, but I think the numbers for my motor seem about average. I was expecting more out of his and so was he but whatever, I'm not gonna argue. He has Blox B's in it now, as soon as I get my car back on the road we are both going for a retune at the same place, same day. I have a Top Fuel intake with a Toda header now, I'm anxious to see the results

thats what i meant. anyway, its so easy to compare 2 dynoplots from 2 different seasons. too many people are concerned with peak hp. trust me, B.Crower 2's make power. who knows, maybe your 16b is healthier than your boys? and, what were his wtq #'s? too many variables to compare, my friend......too many variables

Dont get high hopes, id say shoot for about 215 you will most likely out flow your cylinder head, i have a similar setup but with more compression and bigger bore and better exhaust setup but no port and polish at all on my head and its killing me, but even with 215 depending on weight you should run 12s all day with slicks that is
