finally our little business, Virgin Workshop, gets back to doing what it does best. Cranking out sick 1 off designs. Almost a year ago Ron (Mr. Amused) came over grinning ear to ear with these turd nuggets.
We kicked around ideas and were just going to polish the lips and paint the face lamborghini purple. Months passed, never got around to working on them, and we lost interest. Well boredom peaked and we busted out the wire brush and spray guns and went to town.
We decided to do a candy apple red lip with black face w/pearlescent flake. You will be able to see the finished wheels at the Eibach meet on another members ride.
They are still going to be broken down, wetsanded, cleared and the wet sanded again. Get rid of some little imperfections.
Here are some teasers to give you a peak.
How they sat for a very long time....16" Volk GTU's by the way.

i was thinking you guys designed/made your own wheels and made a cool rim....but it's just a powdercoated/painted volk gtu in different colors.

I did design them, thats when i worked for Volk back in the 1940s.

you should have seen how many layers of paint were on the faces of the volks.... it was ridiculous.... toyed with the idea of silver faces to color match the S2000 but after speaking with 1point6 and rhett miester decided on black... yes the faces have to be wet sanded then cleared then cut and buffed.... this is just a raw pic of the wheels after spraying the faces... should have finished product tonight....
