civic type r gauge cluster install.
If I was to try and swap a civic type r gauge cluster into a 97 civic hatch, with no factory tach, and an auto trans. What am i going to have to do to get everything to work? When everythings said and done it will be converted to standard, running an h22 and a s300'd p28. Am I gonna need the type r harness? Any one ever done this? Can't find the info I need. Did I miss a thread?

No, nobody has ever put a Type-R cluster in their Civic. You are the first one ever. What a trend-setter you are.
You need to search harder.
It's 100% plug and play.

Also, why would you pay $600 + conversion harness for S300 just to run an N/A H22?
Just get it chipped with CROME and you'll be out less than $200 with ecu and harness.
