Default Greddy TI-C exhaust installed today and...

First impressions...I don't really like it. The muffler itself looks to big for the car and the design of the axle-back portion is so that the muffler hangs down in the front and looks like it angles up in the back...giving it a very cheap look.

The sound is ok...not as deep as my HFP exhaust, but that's ok.

As for the power...going from a 2" pipe to a 3" one I can deff tell the lose in bottom end torque and it even feels like a lose over all, but ill have to get it on the dyno to find out.

No one seems to understand that 3" pipe is for turbo applications...
That strange bend it does at the back, its for "style"

How does the angle of the exhaust make it cheap?? that is the n1 racing style.. and the piping isn't 3' its 60mm which is 2.36

Ok I was wrong...but its not 60mm like you said...it's 60mm.

Trust me like looks cheap...like it's TO big and doesn't fit the car, and the way that it angles doesnt help it either.

I just measured it and it's about 2.50" which puts it at 60mm...if you ask me it's to big for a non turbo car.

I would have to agree... 2.5 is the biggest you really need, even with modifications... Standard 2" performs really well as long as it is all mandrel bent...

Did you measure the outside of the tubing, or the inlet of the muffler, the inside of the tubing, what did you measure?

Im tossed up between this and the Evo2, Im leaning more towards the evo2. I am definately staying na and only want 60mm, but the Tic doesnt look right on the coupe without the hfp kit atleast from the pics ive seen.

I was pretty much convinced on this exhaust until I saw it on a car. It just looks "rice", you could stuff a grapefruit down that pipe, and I'm not a fan of that. I like the look of the stock, just wish it was deeper/louder.

Could you just remove the "muffler" that is before the axle and get better flow and sound?

I hear that is insanely quiet, which isn't what I'm going for.

why are ppl still sayin that ANYTHING over 2.5" is useless w/o FI??! 3" + n/a k20 = no loss and very good gains. here's my proof till someone shows me otherwise:

They make a 3 inch as well for turbo applications. What some of you are stating that they don't is not accurate.

Exactly, call up John at Hytech exhaust and ask him what diameter pipping he's running for his NA k20a/z1/z3 exhaust and why.

(2.5inch)
