it will rub on the firewall. at least with a d16z6 in my ef it did. you just have to dent in the firewall a little.

Just go with an oem P30, it'll make more power than the skunk II anyway.

BUt I do know it will not have a problem whatsoever fitting in your rex. I have ran one myself as well as a friend of mine.

I have yet to see a dyno prove any gain over the P30 intake, and thats how i know what makes power. If you'd search, you'll see this has been covered before.

It's a second gen B16 IM. Nothing fancy. Why replace stock with...expensive stock parts?

A skunk2/itr type will get killed by a p30 manifold until 7k. There are plenty of dynos floating around to prove it.

To answer the op's question though, it should fit fine.

I've got a Skunk 2 manifold on my B18c in 89 hatchback. No problem!!

You however have to keep in mind that the engine placement also enters into it.

Ahh, i thought so.

is it a straight forward swap? is there any wiring issues, going from Gen1 to Gen 2?

what about all the IAVC valves etc from the GEN1, which sits on the firewall on EF9's?

do you swap them out for the GEN2 ones that mount onto the GEN2 mani?
