I own an 02. All boltons did very little except for the ECU and ITR Cams. Get the K-Pro. It's worth whatever the price is. It makes the car so much more enjoyable to drive around town or when you want stomp the gas. The lack of torque sucks and the acceleration is very jumpy, KPRO will assist in smoothing it all out.
Also the REVO short shifter makes life much nicer and shifting much less of a pain in the ***.

get K-pro first.. don't waste your time or money on a short shifter it shortens your synchros life span. Keep it stock. Also what are you trying to do with your car, what are you looking for? Speed, Power, Looks etc...

i just want to break into the 13s, i would be happy with 13.9..but i mainly want looks since im not really into the street racing scene anymore. not that i want to be all show no go, but but i want to be able to hang with the majority...

you can do that and get away with it but you will be choking your motor down, eventually you would want to get exhaust. But K-pro would be IMO first thing to get and then go from there as it is the key to the motors power.

K-pro allows you to fully tune your car to how you want it and maximize the full potential of what you have done with your engine. keep in mind that anything that changes the dynamics of the engine e.g. intake, headers, exhaust, turbo, injectors, rods etc.... you will be able to tune it with the k-pro and make full use of that power that is not seen with the reflash or a stock ecu. a reflash is like having a new ecu but with a decent tune BUT you will not be able to tune it and you will be stuck with that tune even with upgrades or any changes that you have done to try and increase your power. You'd be gaining more then 20-30 hp with a k-pro but it all depends on what you are doing and what you're modifying. You could have gains of 20-30 all the way up to 100+ but it all depends on what you did to the motor to change the dynamics of it in order to make it fast. Make sense? Ask anyone on H-T and they will tell you to more likely get K-pro as it is the key to unlocking your motors true power.

oo ight, so k-pro is like chrome or neptune but for the rsx? a good friend of mine tunes cars so perhaps he could do it but he never really fooled around with hondata...so what would i need to buy?
* $500 - Upgrade cost for existing Hondata reflash (ECU must be sent to Hondata or authorized installer).
* $995 - Retail price (ECU must be sent to Hondata or authorized installer).
* $1595 - K-Pro with new Honda PRB ECU based off US RSX-S
* $1145 - K-Pro for 2005-2006 RSX includes adapter harness.

i dunno how chrome or neptune works so i really can't say much about that. If your friend knows how to tune cars the same concept applies.
* $995 - Retail price (ECU must be sent to Hondata or authorized installer). you'll be without an ECU for about a week or so. But it is worth it in the end. K-pro is your best friend
