Intake valves dirty???
ok been about 9,000 miles into this motor after i had fresh head work done. i changed the clutch and decided to pull the head and check everything out. when i looked at the valves the exahust still look like the day i put the head on but the intake valves are dirty as hell. i was wondering if this could be a sign of timing being too advanced? i always thought that the intake valves was supposed to be cleaner than the exahust. so any help would be great b/c this really has me wondering what was going on.
Also the motor always ran fine and never studard but it did seem to lose power up higher in the rpm range but i was thinking it was the clutch slipping. Could lose of power in high rpm be timing to advanced????
