Hello all, I have the JDM 96 spec ITR suspension conversion with the 4x114.3 bolt pattern on my EK and was wondering what everyone is using when replacing the pads and rotors. I have been told that they are a 10.2" disc for fronts and I am not sure about rears. Basically, all I have found are Mugen front rotors and they are $300 a set from KING Mtrsps. Does anyone know what else works? and seriously know, do vtec prelude rotors from 92-96? or accord, or gsr pads, gsr rotors are 10.2" I believe.
thanks for any answers in advance, and yes, I tried searching this, to no avail, I wouldnt have asked if I didnt know or couldnt find it, but my brakes are seriously 'tisking' and 'hissing' all the time.

bump, need to know.
Found out from "blueintegraboy" that any pad from 94-01 integra (except the type R) will work because the caliper is the same size

those will only work if you take them and have them redrilled to match the new lug pattern as well as have the center bored out some.... search bc there is a HUGE thread specifially about this. i have it saved at home but im at work now

but the point of doing the jdm 4x114 is for the better pistons in the calipers, they are actually a better brake setup then the usdm non vtec preludes, are they not? what is the size and thickness of the prelude nonvtecs?

just my luck

</TD></TR></TABLE>if im not mistaken im pretty sure the prelude rotors are bigger and thinker, and thats why you need to use the prelude bracket if youre going to use the prelude rotor and caliper.... bc the itr one does not allow for enough clearance. its been awhile since i did all that so im trying to remember this stuff despite my foggy memory

well if the prelude bracket and caliper is thicker, then I suppose it would be worth it to upgrade to that

no it is not that simple, hopefully this thread will go over exactly what can and cannot be used and it gets stickied or is placed in a FAQ section

totally is, thats one thing I have learned here on ht, if your going to search something, you need to also back it up with like three other sources of the same info. to think it may be the the correct info. There are a TON of information regurgitators on here who love to post ' I read that if you....yada ' . I have found out the hard way that there are a lot of people on here who dont know how to even change a brake pad, let alone what one will fit in a 4x114 conversion

the 94 teg rotors redrilled are the way to go if you don't wanna buy the real deal ones from king or other importers.
I went with 98+ITR calipers/brackets and 92-96 Prelude vtec rotors on the front. It DOES require a little grinding for caliper clearance but it doesn't look like enough to be structurally unsafe.
This setup barely clears the spokes on the 96/97 ITR wheels but it does clear. It completely fills the wheel and will probably make you fly through the window if you decide to stomp your brakes while not wearing a seatbelt.
I have yet to do the rears but, I have a feeling it will be the Prelude vtec calipers and rotors on the rear.
