Car won't start...wtf?
So I went out for a drive earlier, about 3 hours ago. Everything was fine. Nothing wrong at all as usual. Then I got gas and filled er up. Came home. Chilled for a few hours. Then decided to clean the inside of my car since it's nice out.
So I turned my car on to the last position so the fuel pump primes and dash lights are on to listen to music (since the 2nd position makes that beep noise when the door is open) and clean every window on the inside. Then I use a damp cloth and clean all the plastics on the front dash. So 40 minutes have now passed and my mom comes home from work and I'm blocking her from being able to park.
So I go to turn on my car, and nothing. It just makes the "hummmm" noise like the fuel pump priming noise when I turn my key to turn the car on. I'm like "wtf? dead battery? can't be...". So I try jumping it for kicks and it still doesn't start. The fuel pump primes, dash lights are on, everything works 100%. It just doesn't start.
Ideas?

The funny thing is, in the just over 3 years I've had this car, it's NEVER EVER done such a thing. I mean the battery has died and it's made that clicking noise when you try to turn it on. And I got a new battery last summer. But it's never just made a humming noise and not turned on.
So wtf...

Ugh I don't feel like taking **** apart. I checked the plug wires, they were all on. I looked down into the spark plug holes, they're fine. I checked the injectors. I checked the battery connections. I checked fuses both inside and outside.
I guess if I have to check the dizzy rotor I shall. But what am I exactly looking for when I look at it?
