Default I have two trannys sittin' here... what to do?!

i posted this up in the Tech section, but i figured i'd put it up in here as well since time is becoming a factor, and i'd really like some feedback...
i'm looking for some input on my transmission situation here.
i have a turbocharged obd0 b16a with an S1 tranny currently sitting in my 94 hatchback (long story). i drove the car for two summers on the stock clutch, so let's just say that it's toast.
anyhow, i ordered in an ACT XTSS and Streetlite flywheel for it in the winter, and just picked up a 91 LS tranny with plans for a 5th gear swap. the last piece of the puzzle was going to be an OBX LSD, but now i'm not sure i'm heading in the right direction, and would really like some help from you guys before i spend more money.

basically, i'm starting over with my car, focusing primarily on building the most fun daily driver i can. the new setup will include my new ATP gt28rs, custom topmount, 3" dp and exhaust, yadda yadda. i'm shooting for 230-250whp low boost, and 320-350whp high boost (dual stage manual), and revving to about 8800rpm (ITR cams).

now, with those numbers in mind, and my goal of having a fun streetcar that sees a few passes at the dragstrip, what do you all think i should use for a transmission?
b16 tranny w/LS 5th?
straight up LS?
some other combination of the two?
sell it all and search for hydrolic ITR w/LSD?

as always, money is an issue, and i'm hoping to make something work really well with the parts i already have if i can.
thanks for reading, and any input is greatly appreciated!

anybody have a similar setup?
anybody favor the S1 over the LS on the street?

Personally I'd run a B16 tranny, you won't get out of 4th in the 1/4 anyway. I think that I topped out 4th around 125 MPH at 9000 or so RPM's -w- 380 WHP from a GT28RS on a B16. I could have just barely shifted to 5th before I trapped, but I lost time if I tried it so I just stayed in 4th. I had a Quaife, but it was for autocross, it's not really necessary for drag racing or street use.

I don't know about using the LS 5th gear, never tried it, seems like a good idea though.

Also post this question in the drag racing forum, there's some people there that could probably give you the best answer.
