lol..these scooters don't require any documents or registration .street legal according to state of illinois d.o.t law chapter 625 and 626 but yeah check with your town or city first cause they have the right to outlaw it if they feel its unsafe in there area like some towns have too much slanted streets etc.. . it sounds like a lawnmower rippin through the streets,let me know guys....

well its not better then gopeds(gopednation.com) but its decent to get around in,and its fast,can't beat it for the price .

you would need to rewire the electric wire ,buy a charger to charge up the battery or pull start it but the carbuerator needs cleaning and readjust the throttle and new spark plug would help,but again im not a mechanic so its just my assumption.

Motorized Pedalcycle. A motorized pedalcycle is a motor-driven cycle whose speed attainable in one mile is 30 mph or less, which is equipped with a motor that produces 2 brake horsepower or less. If an internal combustion engine is used, the displacement shall not exceed 50 cubic centimeter displacement and the power drive system shall not require the operator to shift gears. (625 ILCS 5/11-1403.1) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-1403.1) Sec. 11-1403.1. Riding on motorized pedalcycles.
(a) The operator of a motorized pedalcycle shall ride only astride the permanent and regular seat attached thereto, and shall not permit 2 persons to ride thereon at the same time, unless the motorized pedalcycle is designed to carry 2 persons; any motorized pedalcycle designed for 2 persons must be equipped with a passenger seat and footrests for use of a passenger.

Sec. 11?1505. Position of bicycles and motorized pedal cycles on roadways ?Riding on roadways and bicycle paths. (a) Any person operating a bicycle or motorized pedal cycle upon a roadway at less than the normal speed of traffic at the time and place and under the conditions then existing shall ride as close as practicable to the right?hand curb or edge of the roadway except under the following situations:
1. When overtaking and passing another bicycle, motorized pedal cycle or vehicle proceeding in the same direction; or
2. When preparing for a left turn at an intersection or into a private road or driveway; or
3. When reasonably necessary to avoid conditions including, but not limited to, fixed or moving objects, parked or moving vehicles, bicycles, motorized pedal cycles, pedestrians, animals, surface hazards, or substandard width lanes that make it unsafe to continue along the right?hand curb or edge. For purposes of this subsection, a "substandard width lane" means a lane that is too narrow for a bicycle or motorized pedal cycle and a vehicle to travel safely side by side within the lane.
(b) Any person operating a bicycle or motorized pedal cycle upon a one?way highway with two or more marked traffic lanes may ride as near the left?hand curb or edge of such roadway as practicable.
