Default Skunk-2 camshafts (d16)

I'm rebuilding the head on my y8 and I am thinking about throwing a stage 1 skunk-2 cam in it. I know it's recomended to upgrade springs, and if I get the cam I will probably upgrade springs. Anyways, I just wanted to see if anyone has a setup like this and could comment on it. Pros/cons? Any other valve-train probs I should watch out for? Any worries about interference? Etc. Any info you have would be appreciated. Thanks.

i installed one on my y8, and had zero trouble with it. i didn't switch out valvetrain or anything. the only problem with the cam is i saw NO noticeable gains. you'd be better off using crower.

Did you get a gear with it and get it tuned? Skunk-2 said around 17hp gain. Just wondering. If I'm not gonna get any noticable gain I won't waste the $. Thats why I'm asking around.
