I know i know there are other threads on this but none of them seem to be my problem. i am getting a cel code # 4 which i believe is the map sensor.? Well anyways what would be causing my car not to rev over 3500 rpm i tried undoing battery and waiting incase ecu went into safe mode still no different. i took it to my local performance shop they didnt have a clue said i would need to leave it there to have them look.. but since this is my only means of transportation i cant. i know this is rambling on but does anyone have a clue? its a 91 honda crx with a jdm d15b vtec in it converted over to obd 1 thanks

 

maybe the TPS and Map clips to sensors got switched?

 

The crank sensor inside the distributer went bad got a new dizzy problem fixed
