Anyone from Stp MN know a good mechanic when it comes to supercharging???
I'm kinda new at this whole turbo & supercharger thing. I recently purchased a supercharger from comptech. Now I'm looking for someone who knows what they're doing when it comes to supercharging an 06 Civic Si. Is there any extra components I need? Shoould I've gotten a turbo instead? Quater mile & 0-60 estimation?
you should be in the mid 13's
nothing else is needed and the instructions are VERY clear.
Go to http://www.hondata.com find a "hondata dealer" near your house that MIGHT also double as a performance shop & have them do the install.

not sure what the comptech kit comes with but if it doesnt come with an A/F gauge and a boost gauge i would definetly get that.

what i was talking about is that he should definetly go wideband over narrowband a/f gauge. the price difference between the two is quite substantial, but the benefit is worth the difference.

Don't even ask that question, why beat yourself up and second-guess the purchase after you got it? Nothing wrong with the countless hours of R & D Comptech put into that S/C. I would pick that above all the competition so far.
Personally, I'm waiting for warranty to expire + tuning/engine management + Full Race (FTMFW).

Hey n00b-
Check out this thread. It's a 'for sale' thread but it's basically a bunch of banter between locals:
