Default installing si wing on 00 coupe

Hi guys,

I'm installing an si wing on my 2000 coupe, but i had a couple of questions.
When I drill holes, is there anything I would have to do to protect the paint from cracking?
Also, I'm missing the gasket/weatherstripping (?) from one of the sides.
Do you know where I could purchase another one?

Thanks for your help.

Your paint shouldn't crack when drilling the holes, I suggest after you drill the holes, use some touch up paint on the bare metal before mounting the spoiler. As for a weather strip, just buy it from a Honda Dealership or online.

where do I drill? on the bumps underneath the trunk?
also, do i drill from the outside in? (top -> bottom?)
or inside out? (bottom->top)

The spoiler should come with a cut-out diagram that you lay on your deck lid. On the cut-out it will have exactly where to drill the holes. You basically lay it down and tape it in place then drill where it says to. Make sure to remove any kind of trim on your deck lid so you don't put holes through it. If you're not buying the spoiler new then you most likely won't be getting the mounting diagram, so you're gonna have to measure everything and make sure you don't mount it crooked.

I wouldn't try making one, you may be able to find an aftermarket weatherstrip. Found this one http://www.1aauto.com/1A/Weath..._base
