I am rebuilding my b18a1 and I can't choose a brand main/rod bearing. I am looking for some input as to what brand is good for the street and will take a fair amount of abuse. I have only come across a few brands such as ACL and OEM. I have always just used cheap NAPA bearings but I now buliding my motor and its time to do things right. Any inputon bearings and preference would be great. Thanks

 

Honda bearings are very good. It's all that I used in my motor

They also have the most options for sizes.

OEM for me too.. but pretty pricey for a bearing

 

oem or acl. whichever gives you the desired clearances.
