Default Attempting my first swap..I could use advise before I start

So I have a 94 Accord that I have purchased a J spec h22 for. I have an automatic since I have an air ride installed. I have read as much as I can but would like some reality bites before i continue. Motor mounts, AC, power steering, etc. I am using an accord tranny also. I was told that f22 wiring harness can be used also. I have JDM ecu. HELP!!! Not too many guys i know have done this so maybe i can be the first girl in my area to complete this on my own! I have swap experience so this should be fun!! Thanks for your time!

So you're trying to just swap the motor itself and use an automatic F22 transmission?

The tranny will bolt up fine, since all F and H series transmissions are interchangable on F and H blocks. Power transfer is another story though.

You could use the F22 harness, but you will need to make sure it is pinned right, and you have all the right connections. Because you will probably be hardwiring some of your plugs. That is what happened on my auto to manual swap. I had to re-pin a lot of things because my harness was from a ULEV.

You need to use the H22 ECU though - I hope that is what you bought. Also, I'm not sure on the gear ratio difference in the H22 and F22....I know that on the manual transmissions, the F22 would have longer gears. So you might eventually run into a problem or two with that, but don't quote me on it.

Im not really worried about speed, just as long as i can beat my brother-in-laws hatch with a b18 auto! I know i will need to hardwire vtec, knock sensor, etc. I did get the h22 ecu. What about mounts for the swap. I have read that I can use 2 accords and a prelude mount. I fould a hasport tranny mount...any good? This seems like a pretty interesting swap!

Don't quote me but a hatch with a b18 would be hard to beat unless you really put some work to that h22... Just because its in an accord.... But like i said, I'm not very sure about the b18's.

if you haven't got the mount issue cleared up yet, i'm pretty sure the only mount swap needed is the driver side mount (that's the prelude mount)
