Debating on getting these ce28n's...but don't know about the fit...
**before anyone asks, yes i did a search and read through a lot of offset threads, none of which really answered my questions**
I found some Volk ce28n's (8 spoke) and aren't sure if I want to buy them because of the offset. I'm running a 2000 civic, koni yellow/GC combo and right now I have SI's on it, which i believe are +45 offset (correct me if i'm wrong). The Volks are +33 offset, and are 16x7, 4x100 and I'll either be running 205/40's or 205/45's on them if I buy them.
Is the +33 offset too low, and will I have to roll my fenders? And will the 205/45's be too much of a "meaty" tire? I'm want to be dropped a significant amount, approx. a 1 to a 'flush' finger gap all around. I just want to know if the Volks will be too much of a problem to hassle with...because I don't want to spend a good amount of $$ on some wheels that won't fit well.

+33 will stick out further than 40-45.
Lots of guys are dumped on volks. Run 205/45's you'll be fine.

They are 'used' since they were mounted, but never driven on.
I know a +33 will 'stick out' farther than my SI's, but I should be safe with 205/45's? I'm not going to be running 'dumped as hell' but I'm not going to have a 2 finger gap either. I just want to be sure I'll be safe, I have some spoon calipers I've been procrastinating to put on, will the +33 clear those or no?

Spoons will clear a 16" wheel. Expecially with that offset.
I've seen spoon calipers on 15" slips.

okay, i was just worried about the offset being too low for them to clear the calipers.
will i need to roll my fenders (at all, a little bit)?

okay, that's what i figured...as long as i'll be alright after rolling the fenders i'll be fine. I just didn't want the offset to be a problem to where i'd be rubbing even if i rolled them...
