OBD0 to OBD1 MSD Dizzy

OBD0 to OBD1 MSD Dizzy
I have a complete MSD dizzy for a OBD1 car and ove course mine is a OBD0 and I was told that I needed a jumper harness for OBDo to OBD1 and a OBD1 ecu so my question is, am I going to need to repin the dizzy plug or should it just plug and play? One other question, what would be the best ODB1 ecu for my car, im going LS Vtec by the way. thanks.
