Default Newbie... hello there.

Hello,
I just bought a 98/Ch white. It has 88k on the chassis, and -40k on the motor. It is a salvage title. Bought it on ebay for 10k last thursday, and picked it up today at Autobacs. Anyhow, this is my first R, I now have to sell my B5 S4.

She drove home nicely, back to San Diego, nothing seems out of place... I'll refer to the FAQs should something seem a miss.

So, I'm very happy so far with my purchase, Im gonna go have a look around in here, bye.

What I know about the car:
98 model Ch white
salvage, stock motor from '00 type R under 40K
ES exhaust
hi-flo cat
tokiko adj currently set at 5
momo wheel
red recaros

Oh, LOL... that number was the last few digits of the VIN...

Anyway, holy crap, didn't realize the theft issues that plague type r's... reading through these forums, Ive become appropriately paranoid...

Suggestion....

Take the plaque out of your car. It's one part you'll NEVER get back even if you try.

What are you trying to say? I've owned it before?
