Has anyone done a write up on painting/dyeing the grey roof of the 4th gen ludes from grey to black (or other colors obviously)

Just curious, mine has quite a bit of old age on it, and I wanted to clean it up and possibly dye/paint it black.

it takes a lot of time
especially getting the vinyl to go down into the curves in the middle

the original grey stuff can be removed weirdly with a heat gun and a scraper...
it scrapes off easily

i used some 3M adhesive spray...the industrial type
