Default 2003 honda cbr600rr

my younger bro is thinking of riding this summer and i'd like some input about a bike we looked at. the bike belongs to his friend and i found some things wrong with it.

-bike has been looped
-stock can damaged and misaligned
-clutch cover damaged
-yellow bodywork walmarted black
-bar ends replaced with plastic CF

i rode it today and the brakes are still good. the tranny had better feel than my 636. motor runs fine. typical honda. theres probably things i don't know what to look for. i tried looking for any frame or triple clamp damage and there was none.

6700k miles on it and i think he's the 3rd owner. he wants what he paid for it which was $3k from the previous owner that looped it in front of sam's club where he worked. reasonable?

Sounds like a decent price, but I would try to talk him down some. Does it have a clean title? Also it sounds like the subframe is probably tweaked, so check that out next time you look at it.

If the bike has been looped, I'd check not only the subframe, but the frame and forks too.

6700k miles? HFS. That's a shitload of miles.

I wouldn't go more than $2500. But that's because I'm cheap.

I think marmaladeboy was pointing out the fact that is says 6700k -> 6,700,000 miles which is a $hitload.
