keyless reprogram for 96-00 coupe 1.6i ls.
hi all, cool site u have here. perhaps u can help me.
i need to reprogram my (EJ) coupe door remote. i can only find instructions for the type that is built into the radio. my reciever isnt, its inbetween the sun visors.
it is a 1 button remote.
can anyone help please?????

Being as yours is in a unit unavailable in the states, I would contact your local Honda dealership. Their parts or service department should be able to print out instructions for you.

I know you're from England. That's why I said to go to your local Honda dealer. A dealership in Alabama wouldn't even know what a 1.6i LS is, let alone how to program your keyless.

im just a bit worried honda will charge me £££ to perform what i think will be a simple procedure. the last time a stealerships said a job needed "special tools" it turned out the "tool" was a piece of rag (to get window winders off).
i'll try them tomorrow (but i'll keep the engine running).

Yeah, don't ask them to do it. Just ask them to print you out instructions. If service doesn't have them, go to the parts department, and ask for "install instructions" for the part you have. It should have install, removal, and setup all on it
