Default Crank pulley stuck ??? , Engine runs, accesory belts wont move.

So I got a problem .. What is causing my Crank pulley to be stuck like that ? The accesory belts won't move under engines power, but the engine cranks and runs. I have to pull on the belts so they can start moving and then they stop again. There is major friction inside somewhere and I can't figure this out.

Pulled the valve cover and the Timing Belt looks good. Help.

EDIT: forgot to mention that there is some play on the crank pulley. I can grab it and move it slightly front to back. This ofcourse when all the belts are off and no tension on the pulley. Pulley bolt is on there pretty tight.

Any ideas ?

you either have a broken keyway or no key
youre going to have to unbolt the pulley to find out which one it is

(if they worked before...its broken - if the crank is damaged...you need a new one, unless youre cool with trying to weld it as a fix [that probably wont hold anyway])

So should I be hopping that it just fell out ? This is what I saw .. Shreded pieces of belt comming out of the mid - timing cover. I'm assumiong that this is the Timing Balancer Belt. Could this be the cause?

Its not going to fall out...thats impossible from how its assembled.
The best thing you can hope for is the pulley is fucked (highly unlikely) because its on the outside.
Luckier still (and even less likely) is that the key was neatly cut in half.

There is no "balancer belt" and without seeing anything no one can tell you what you see.

You need to remove all acc belts and unbolt the pulley. Period.
That is the only way youre going to be able to see to what extent youre screwed
