gsr brake conversion on an eg.. anyone who knows will help...
ive seen different sights on doing a rear disk brake conversion on an eg hatch with gsr brakes... but will it make a difference if i dont use an integra praportioning valve for the brake lines? or can my stock civic dx valve still work? any ideas?
Yes, it will work just fine. Will you see all of the added benefit of the rear disc? No, but it will still be better than drum.
i think he pretty much summed it all up w/ this statement

my personal experience, i changed the praportioning valve and i didnt notice a difference, it is more of a hasel than it is worth becuase over time those brake line fitting get week and they round off VERY easily especially if you dont have a tubing wrench plus it just makes it easier to leak if the fittings are bad when u take them out.
