just another "i painted my vc" thread.
stripped it bare. then shaved off the raised lettering. also spent the time to shave all the imperfections from the casting process.
primered. then painted the whole thing silver. then painted the front and back green (body color) to fade into the silver.
next i stuck 'day dot' stickers all over my valve cover.....at least 900 of those little fockers.
sent it back to the booth for a final coat of silver over the entire valve cover. peeled all the day dots off and gave er nice generous coat of clear.
back on the head.
the green dots pretty much fade into silver and kinda disappear.
