well, one reason that many might not post is because alot of people hate on the RSX alot here. on the main page it says "It is just an Integra. Here you go whiney RSX proponents." How disrespectful is that? I think it leads towards an anti RSX mentality here.I post more at Clubrsx.com cause there is just slighty less hating there even with the huge WRX, Clelica, and VW crowd that LOVES to post there.

I used to own a 95 GSR(the best year due to OBD1 you know its true dont lie to yourself) for about 4 years. I had a good bit of mods, and knew what it could do. I started reading this board for a long while before I ever posted, but I felt right at home. Everybody was cool. I loved it. I know have a RSX typeS, and it doesnt feel the same way it used to feel here when I had my GSR. People are just so....Dumb! I would consider myself a better judge of the two than most of the people that get on here and talk out of their asses. So I know what they can do. and I am content with that fact so i dont feel like posting stuff and having people try to flame me for my opinion. thats just my 2 cents.

i think the admins finally got tired of hearing the RSX owners complain since they were "forced" to use the integra forum. hence why they say "it's just an integra" and call them "whiney". i mean, they have one forum for all the civics, one for BOTH the s2k and nsx, and one for crv/tl/cl etc. so i'd see where the admins were coming from in at first not having an RSX forum.

maybe if we were in japan it would be just another integra. BUT we are not in japan, the RSX has been out how long? and it has almost as many posts as all the s2000 and NSX posts put together. And how long have they been out?? Question, why is there a different section for EG civics and and EF civics? they are all just civics right?

It will be interesting to see what real performance developments are to come for the RSX. It's been out for a year now, and I still don't see all that much going on with it. Yet. That is why I check out this forum every now and then, even though I am disappointed in the direction Honda took with the new design.

As an aside, I for one am glad the RSX isn't polluting the Integra forums. It is NOT an Integra, and Acura did well to rename it, just as h-t did well to create a seperate forum. Real Integras have double wishbone suspension on all four corners! This is essential! The spirit of the two cars is markedly different, thus it is natural that proponents of one dislike the other. Anybody who doesn't recognise that the switch in suspension architecture is the chief reason for dischord between Integra enthusiasts and RSX owners is kidding himself.

Ok given that the rsx has been out for almost a year, not a whole year but almost and there is not much out for it yet just intake, header (whenever dc releases it), exhaust, pullies, cam gears, cams, turbo( whenever greddy releases it), and nos, yes a few companies have made systems for the rsx. But to me I think that the rsx is coming along just fine. I mean come on how long did it take honda to perfect the gsr? 7 years right.hhmmmmm. And yet the gsr people are hating on the new car. I think 200 hp and 141 pounds of tourque is a good stepping stone for a car enthusiast. Its only been a year, give the rsx some time to get more r&d on it. So complain and whine all you want guys, but just give it time and see what comes. And also about the rsx forum saying " It's just and integra" hhmmm.. I thought everyone said that the rsx is not integra??? whats going on here? If its not an integra then why did h-t post that for ?? Guess everyone is confused huh. So dont bitch to us about weather or not its a rsx or integra , complain to h-t and let them hear your whines. To us its our car that we love to race and enjoy working on.

And also if you look at the gsr now, it has reached it peak, people have done everything imaginable to that car and its not going anywhere else. It was a good car and now its time for the newer "honda" car to come fowared. The rsx is the next car to take over. Its all uncharted territory..lol that sounded kind of corny but you know what I mean. The k20(a,a2,a3) are all new engines and have alot of potential. All it needs is the R&D and time that honda gave the gsr and it will become an even greater car. So all I can say is give the k20 some time to prove itself, and when it does you will be amazed.

its funny cause i been around a while and I remember when the last generation integra first came out back in 94 EVERYBODY hated it. people compared it to a celica, people hated the little round lights, people hated it because it was a Honda. But it was 1994 the import revolution was barely getting started, and it was near the end of the reign of the Mustangs. And it was all the Redneck Mustang and american Iron driving hillbillies that would laugh and point and call my Integra ugly and slow. I did not care cause i loved my car and when i beat a few of them the look on their faces was priceless.

It is sad that now it is my fellow Honda enthusiasts that sound like ignorant hillbillies, because they cant accept change. they believe that they are the center of the universe and only the ones on their planet are cool. It is sad to be ignorant. dont put down things out of jealousy, or pride. If your car is fast. cool. Do you need to put down some one else's car to feel good.

One last thing. the RSX has been out less than a year, and it already has 3 or 4 different intakes out, 10-15 different exhausts out, 5 or 6 different suspension companies making stuff, and it goes on and on, How many other cars have had that much aftermarket support less than a year before its been out. The new Celica hasnt. oh well thats it.

Amen brother. Praise the Lord! Pass the plate!

I can remember when the only exhaust I could find for my '90 Civic Si was an $800 HKS that King Motorsports had to order from Japan. A friend of mine had a Neuspeed tuned Corrado G60 and it might as well have been a Ferrari, because apparently nobody had ever seen one before.

no i'm not all into looks...i know how the engiine bay looks makes no difference, i just like to see a nice clean engine bay..like the b-series...every thing was simple..clean lookin...lots of metal, no plastic....now the k20 looks like an american motor...no space...plastic everywere....it looks like every other acura or honda engine...not like a sports car engine ....this is just my pet peeve, and my opinion...dont get all pissy about it...just seems honda used to take more interest in things like that before , than they do now...basically i can see what road honda is leaning toward nowdays...there going after what they do best..selling cars...rather than motor sports...except for in japan were you still have the CTR ITR , and NSX-r Accord - R , and such...were everything is raced tuned , and made to run.....everything sent to america has little attention targeting racing....look at how much ferrari puts into there cars...from top to bottom...even to the engine bay...when you gock and stare at those twin red valve covers.....honda seems to be putting less concern to that...cause honestly they will make more money selling cars , than focusing on build race cars...and its all about da benjimans.....IMO
