Looks like Nate and I got caught staring at Dropspeeds ride, those brake cooling ducts are very cool.

 

jensens got a bunch of time into those damn ducts. and he's pretty proud of them, hahaha.

 

I never did any racing just wondering why all car have tape over their headlight or sometimes the headlight are different color; yellow

 

they look very nice

 

Yeah you caught me gawking at dropspeeds great ride! I am the one with my jaw dropped in amazement how clean and functional the interior was!

the tape is a track thing, so if you wreck, or hit a rock, there wont be glass all over the course because it is stuck to the tape

The ducts are NACA ducts that I cut to fit the openings and routed back to the front rotors. Funtional, judging by the firm pedal feel even after a hard day at the track. There are more pictures here

Hey... i have a question thats been botherin me. How come people put tape on their headlights like that?

 

 

Just in case when the car in front of you go off track and "kick" some rock/debris onto you.....that could damage your headlight

 

What is so funny about this vacation is that my friends just don't get it. I made a picture album and it is just ITR's and some people. Friends always ask, "Why so many pictures of the cars?" They just don't understand !!!

But seriously, I was so content at just hanging out with the NE crew that, I didn't care that I toasted my tires and didn't do too many laps on the second day. Guys thanks for the great vacation !!

It was great to see/meet everyone! I had a great vacation too.

My favorite memory was when all the East Coast crew decided to run together in the novice group for one run! We were really dicing up that track for our 20 mins!
