On March 8 the worst thing happened to me. That was the day i bent 12 valves and blew my pressure plate threw the tranny on my itr. well acura warrantied the whole thing, but there is just one problem. they put the new head on and decided to put a brand new tranny, but the tranny is on backorder so it wasn't a big deal to me at the time. after two months on waiting for my tranny i decided to trailer it back home so i can wash it and just have it back in my garage. well the head is brand new but im still waiting for my tranny its been three months almost and no sign of tranny. so i call acura today and i ask them any news on my tranny and they said "we have an expected date of 8/16". so im gonna have to wait till august to drive my r again. well at least it can't get stolen b/c thereis no tranny it

 

Just because there is no tranny doesn't mean someone can't steal it.

 

what are you gonna tow it out of my garage. after you get passed the car thats in front of it. Mercedes M class. it would be funny watching someone try to steal my car. The key is even on the front seat just put the key in and try to put it into gear. you can just roll it out if you really want

 

Why not have acura buy you a used tranny? Or, why dont you buy a tranny on your own and when acura gets your tranny, just sell it. Its better than waiting 2 and half more months.
