Clutch/Flywheel/Pressure plate ?'s
Well after some hard driving on the way to the expo w/the Chicago caravan I have found out that my 5th gear syncro is toast and will be covered under warranty. I figure w/43k mile on the car, now is a good time to replace the clutch disc/flywheel/pressure plate. I?m looking into going w/all Comptech parts because of the deal I get through work. I do very little stop and go driving and use my car mainly for auto crossing and spirited driving around town and am not afraid to sacrifice some drivability for performance. I also plan on doing cams, pistons ext in the future and want something that will handle that power. With that said I?m looking at the Comptech aluminum flywheel, ACT HD pressure plate and either the ACT performance disc or 6-puck disc. Does this seem like a good combo and would you suggest the performance or 6-puck disc? I am also considering a jdm or other FD and would like to know some more info and if they are worth the cost. Yes I have read all the clutch/flywheel threads and am looking for some advice, thanks a lot.
I heard the competch aluminum was a good piece! so stick with that, as clutches go it is hard to say. so much out there! Anyone know a good upgrade for the stock clutch that is not too extreme?
How harsh is a 6-puck compared to a performace disc? I don't daily drive my ITR so I really wouldn't mind if the 6-puck isn't too harsh. Also, would going w/ a jdm final drive be worth while?

Ok, just got done reading about the 6-puck on their web site, looks like I'll be stickin w/a solid performance disc.
