Default Jdm Headlight High Beam Issue

i just installed jdm headlamps on my eg. while putting them in i noticed they did not have any shields inside between the lense and the buld like the usdm ones, and my high beams throw the light straight into the sky. are jdm headlamps supposed to have shields inside? why are my high beams doing that?

JDM headlights don't have the shield. As far as them pointing too high, adjust your headlights.

Yea when you changed them i take it that you didnt adjust them back. The back of the light connector can be pointed in diff directions.

Sucks so bad that you can solve it with five minutes and a screwdriver.

The JDM headlights are arranged slightly differently compared to the USDM headlights because the JDM lights are designed for RHD vehicles that drive on the left hand side of the road. From what I understand basically the left JDM headlight is arranged so that it points up and slightly to the left. This is so people and animals on the side of the road are lit up. USDM headlights are the opposite. So JDM headlights are more likley to blind on-coming traffic.

this man speaks the truth.

when I was rockin ctr headlamps for a while, I had issues with oncoming traffic high-beaming me. it got so bad that a cop on the sidewalk (I was downtown at a busy intersection at night) asked me if I had my highbeams on, when they weren't.

jdm lights = teh over-rated
